Checking one page at a time doesn’t scale. If your site has dozens of pages, finding out which ones AI systems can’t see means running audit after audit and stitching the results together by hand. The Website Audit does that work for you: point it at a domain, and it discovers your pages, ranks them by how much AI visibility they’re worth, and audits the set you choose — all in a single run, with a site-level view of where to focus first.
Website Audit is a Pro and Agency feature. Pro audits up to 50 pages per run; Agency audits up to 100.
How to run a Website Audit
- Open a project and start a new audit.
- In the audit dialog, choose the Website Audit tab (next to Single and Batch).
- Enter your site’s domain and start the scan. The checker crawls the site to discover auditable pages — this takes a little longer than a single audit because it’s mapping the whole site.
- When discovery finishes, you land on the page selection screen with your pages already pre-selected.
- Review the selection (see below), then click Run audit on N pages.
The audit runs in the background. You don’t need to keep the page open — reports appear in the project as each page finishes.
Reviewing the selection
The checker doesn’t just dump every URL on you. It pre-selects the pages most worth auditing for AI visibility, ranked by value, so the default selection is usually the right one. You can adjust it before running:
- Filter by page type — pills group pages into families (homepage, product, blog, and so on) so you can focus the selection.
- Hide already audited — skip pages you’ve recently checked.
- Subdomains are set aside by default — pages on other subdomains are often separate sites, so they’re excluded unless you add them back. Only include them if you manage them.
- Bulk actions — Select all, Deselect all, or Reset to recommended to get back to the suggested set.
A counter shows how many pages you’ve selected and your plan’s per-run limit. If you reach the cap (50 on Pro, 100 on Agency), deselect a page to add another. If your site has more pages than the cap, audit the highest-value set first, then run again for the rest.
After the audit runs
As pages finish, their reports appear in the project — you don’t wait for the whole run to complete. Once it’s done, the project view gives you the whole-site picture:
- A site-level score summarising how the audited pages are doing overall
- A ranked list of top issues across the site, so you know what to fix first
- The audited pages list, where you can open any single page’s full report to drill into the details
This is the shift the Website Audit makes: instead of reading one report at a time, you start from the site level, see which pages are holding you back, and drill in only where it matters.
Website Audit vs. Single vs. Batch
All three modes live in the same audit dialog. Pick by what you’re starting with:
- Single — you know the one URL you want to check.
- Batch — you already have a specific list of URLs (paste them or upload a CSV). See Batch Audits.
- Website Audit — you want the tool to find your pages for you and give you a whole-site view. This is the fastest way to audit a site you haven’t mapped yourself.
Common questions
How is this different from a batch audit? A batch audit runs a list you provide. The website checker discovers the pages for you, ranks them by AI-visibility value, and gives you a site-level score and top-issues view on top of the individual reports. Use batch when you already have the exact URLs; use Website Audit when you want the tool to map the site.
Why weren’t all my pages selected? The checker pre-selects the highest-value pages up to your plan’s per-run cap and sets aside pages on other subdomains. You can add any page back before running, within the cap.
Do these audits count against my monthly quota? Yes — each page audited in a run counts as one audit against your monthly pool, the same as a single audit.
I don’t see the Website Audit tab. It’s available on Pro and Agency plans. On Free and Plus, use Single or Batch audits, or upgrade to audit whole sites in one run.
