Contact forms: Your name, email address, and message when you contact us.
Account registration (when applicable): Email address and password if you create an account for paid features.
URLs submitted for analysis: Used only to perform the requested analysis—not stored long-term or associated with your identity.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

Usage data: Pages visited, clicks, navigation paths, and feature interactions collected through optional analytics tools (for example GA4).
Session interaction data: If you explicitly enable session recording, replay tools (for example Microsoft Clarity, if enabled later) may capture interaction patterns such as clicks and scroll behavior to help diagnose UX issues.
Technical data: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and referring URL.
IP address: Collected briefly for security and abuse prevention. Not used to identify individuals or build profiles.
Performance data: Page load times collected by Vercel Speed Insights for site performance monitoring.

1.3 Chrome Extension

Only accesses the URL of the current active tab when you open the extension popup.
Does not read page content, track browsing history, or operate in the background.
URLs submitted for analysis are sent to our Cloud Run proxy service solely to retrieve performance data—not stored.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1 Service Delivery

Perform the requested website audit and return results to you.
Respond to inquiries and support requests.
Process payments and manage subscriptions (when paid plans are available).

2.2 Service Improvement

Aggregated and anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most useful, diagnose technical issues, and develop new features.

2.3 Marketing Communications

We may send marketing emails only if you have explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by contacting contact@beseenby.ai.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

3.1 Third-Party Service Providers

Google Cloud Platform (Cloud Run): Hosts backend services. Processes submitted URLs to retrieve Chrome UX Report data.
Vercel: Hosts the web application. Collects web analytics and speed insights data.
Google Analytics (GA4): Processes aggregated analytics events when you consent to analytics.
Session recording provider (if enabled): Processes replay telemetry only when you consent to session recording.
Payment processor (when paid plans launch): Processes billing information. We do not store full card details.

3.2 What We DO NOT Do

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
We do not share your data with advertisers or ad networks.
We do not use your data to build advertising profiles.

4. Data Retention

Audit results: Returned to you in real time and not stored on our servers after the request completes.
Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Server logs: Retained for a maximum of 30 days for security and debugging, then automatically deleted.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

Encryption in transit: All data is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
Google Cloud infrastructure: Maintains ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.
Access controls: Access to production systems restricted to authorized personnel only.
Minimal data storage: Our primary security measure is not storing sensitive data in the first place.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

6. Your Rights

Right of access: Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.

Right to withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

GDPR (EEA/UK): Data controller is BeSeenByAI (operated by Andre Guelmann). Legal bases: contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA (California): We do not sell or share personal information. Contact us with "California Privacy Rights" in the subject for CCPA requests.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use a minimal set of cookies and tracking technologies to operate and improve our service. We do not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising profiles.

We separate optional technologies into two consent categories:

Analytics: Aggregated product analytics (such as GA4).
Session Recording: Session replay and interaction diagnostics (such as Microsoft Clarity, if enabled later).

8. International Data Transfers

Our backend infrastructure is hosted in the United States (Google Cloud, us-central1). If you are in the EEA or UK, your data may be transferred internationally. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and provider certifications for compliance.

9. Children's Privacy

BeSeenByAI is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at contact@beseenby.ai immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised for any changes. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
