Can your answer fit into an AI reply?

AI systems don't use the entire page in an answer. LLMs have a limited amount of space for reading content and then responding, so concise answers have an advantage — if your best answer doesn't fit this text budget, the page will probably be ignored.

For a specific prompt, paste the answer you want AI to quote below and we'll tell you if it will fit their text budget.

About this tool

Is this the same as Prompt Fit?

No — this is a stripped-down piece of it. It only measures length against the same three budgets Prompt Fit uses. It can't tell you whether the answer is actually correct, grounded, or findable on your page — that needs Prompt Fit reading your live URL. See what Prompt Fit checks for the full picture.

Why three sizes instead of one limit?

AI assistants don't always answer at the same length. A quick chat reply, a summary box, and a detailed response each carry a different amount of quoted text. An answer that only fits the longest one won't appear in the short replies, which are the most common kind — more on how that budget is set in this explainer.

What counts as a token?

Roughly four characters of English text, though it varies with punctuation and word length. We use the same tokenizer as the paid tool, so the numbers match what you'd see in a full report.

My answer fits — why might AI still ignore it?

Length is only one gate. AI systems also have to be able to crawl and render the page it's on, and text that visitors can see isn't always text a bot can — see why AI systems miss text visitors can see. A free audit checks both.

Which prompt should I test?

The question a customer would type, in their words rather than yours. If you don't have a list, Prompt Discovery builds one from the page.

Do you store what I paste?

No — this runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to run a full audit. See our privacy policy for details.
