What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, measure usage, and improve performance. Some cookies are essential for the website to function; others are optional and require your consent.
Our Approach to Cookies
BeSeenByAI uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cookies that track you across other websites
- Third-party marketing cookies
Our technologies are grouped into three categories: strictly necessary (required), analytics (optional), and session recording (optional).
Cookies We Use
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the website to operate. They cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality. No consent is required for these cookies under most cookie laws.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__vercel_live_token |
Vercel | Required for Vercel deployment routing and live preview functionality | Session |
| Session cookies (if applicable) | BeSeenByAI | Maintain session state for authenticated users (paid plans only) | Session / up to 30 days |
2. Analytics Cookies (Optional)
These optional cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages are visited, and where traffic comes from. Analytics cookies are only enabled after you consent to the Analytics category.
| Cookie Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* |
Google Analytics (GA4) | Aggregated event and traffic analytics for product and website improvement. | Up to 2 years |
| Vercel Analytics (provider-managed) | Vercel | Aggregated page view and navigation data. Privacy-friendly analytics with no cross-site tracking. | Up to 1 year |
| Vercel Speed Insights (provider-managed) | Vercel | Real-user performance metrics to monitor and improve site speed. | Session |
3. Session Recording Technologies (Optional)
If enabled in the product and accepted by you, we may use session replay tools (for example Microsoft Clarity) to understand usability issues. These tools may set provider-managed identifiers/cookies and capture interaction telemetry such as clicks, scrolls, and navigation behavior.
Session recording is only enabled after you consent to the Session Recording category. You can withdraw that consent at any time from Privacy settings.
4. Third-Party API Connections
When you use the audit tool, your browser connects to external APIs:
- Google Fonts: Fonts are loaded from Google's servers. Google may set cookies as part of this request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
These are not cookies BeSeenByAI directly sets; they are set by third-party servers your browser contacts. We do not control or have access to these cookies.
How to Manage Cookies
Browser Controls
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for common browsers:
Note: Disabling all cookies may affect the functionality of this website and other sites you visit.
Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because DNT is not a consistent technical standard, we do not rely on it as a consent mechanism. We rely on our consent banner and your saved preferences instead.
Opt-Out / Preference Management
You can control optional tracking from our consent banner by choosing Decline all or Manage preferences. You can reopen these controls at any time through the Privacy settings button shown on the site.
You can also use browser privacy controls, ad blockers, and privacy-focused extensions for additional restrictions.
Cookie Consent
Under the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR, non-essential cookies and tracking technologies require consent before activation. We use a consent banner with three actions: Accept all, Decline all, and Manage preferences.
Our optional categories are:
- Analytics (for aggregated product/traffic insights)
- Session Recording (for replay-based UX diagnostics)
Consent choices are stored and can be changed at any time via Privacy settings. Where available, we also apply Google Consent Mode controls for Google analytics signals.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated on our website.
