By accessing or using BeSeenByAI ("the Service") at www.beseenby.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all users of the Service, including users of the Chrome extension and the web application.
2. Description of Service
BeSeenByAI is a free technical diagnostic tool that checks whether websites are technically accessible to AI crawlers and systems. The Service analyzes:
- Website performance signals (TTFB, CLS, INP) via Google's Chrome User Experience Report API
- robots.txt crawlability rules for AI user agents
- Content visibility differences between JavaScript-rendered and raw HTML responses
- URL presence in Common Crawl web indexes
The Service provides diagnostic information only. It does not guarantee AI visibility, rankings, or citations in any AI system.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use BeSeenByAI to analyze publicly accessible websites for legitimate technical diagnostic purposes, including websites you own or manage and websites you have permission to analyze.
3.2 Prohibited Use
You must not use BeSeenByAI to:
- Analyze websites without authorization where analysis itself would constitute unauthorized access
- Conduct automated or bulk analysis in a manner that overloads our systems
- Attempt to bypass, hack, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Misrepresent audit results or use them in a misleading manner
3.3 No Account Required
The free tier of BeSeenByAI requires no account creation. If you create an account for paid features, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
4. Intellectual Property
BeSeenByAI, its logo, branding, and the tool's user interface are the intellectual property of Andre Guelmann. The underlying methodology, code, and diagnostic algorithms are proprietary.
Audit reports generated by the Service may be used, shared, and reproduced for legitimate business purposes. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Audit results are accurate, complete, or current
- Following recommendations will improve AI visibility or search rankings
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
Diagnostic tool only: Results reflect AI readiness signals based on available data. They do not constitute advice about your actual AI visibility, citation frequency, or ranking in any AI system. AI system behavior is complex and depends on many factors beyond the technical signals we measure.
CrUX data may be unavailable for low-traffic pages. robots.txt compliance is advisory. Common Crawl presence is a signal, not a guarantee of AI training data inclusion.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BESEENBYAI AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim (or, for free users, zero).
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
7. Third-Party Services
BeSeenByAI relies on third-party APIs and services including Google's Chrome UX Report API, Common Crawl Index Server, and Vercel hosting. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or changes to these third-party services. If a third-party service becomes unavailable or changes its API, some features of BeSeenByAI may become temporarily or permanently unavailable.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes in advance. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
